Steve Fickes-Director R4

Steve began studying Chinese Kenpo with his 2 sons in 2002 at American Karate Studios under David Buker. Since then, he continues to train 3 days per week without fail. He achieved a third degree black belt and has competed in numerous PKC regions with his family.

Steve has excelled not only as a competitor, but as an organizer.  Steve and his family are the first ones to arrive at tournaments and the last ones to leave. He and his family consistently travel to Indiana, lllinois, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky for tournaments, all while running his family business-a fulltime auto-repair and snow removal shop. He is a highly respected head referee, and his enthusiasm and sense of camaraderie have made him one of the PKC ‘s most recognizable members.
